This last weekend Sioux Falls Curling sent two teams to the USA Curling Arena National Championships. We are proud to announce that Team Andenas-Weber came home as gold medalists! Samantha, Sarah, Jen and Morgan went 3-2 last week in round robin pool play. The team won in the semi-finals in a match against Team Merer from Cleveland Skating Club representing the Great Lakes Curling Association (GLCA) to advance to the finals against the DFW Curling Club representing the Mid-American Curling Association (MACA).
They played great games that kept us all on the edge of our seat! We're thrilled for them to bring home Sioux Falls Curling’s first national gold medals!
Congratulations to the men's teams from DFW Curling Club (gold), Aksarben Curling Club (silver), and Wine Country Curilng Club (bronze) and the women's teams from DFW Curling Club (silver) and Silicoln Valley Curling Club (bronze).
