Bring your group for a private curling experience!
Sioux Falls Curling hosts corporate and special events for groups of all sizes, ages, and abilities. We love to share our enthusiasm for curling with groups like yours!
Host your special event with us for a fun experience your group will talk about for years to come. There is a level of novelty with curling that you just can't get from a trip to the bowling alley or a restaurant. Curling is an adaptive sport, and can be altered to accommodate and include people of various physical abilities.
Private events are typically 1.5 hours and can accommodate up to 40-50 people. We charge $30/person. While we don't have a minimum party size, due to overhead like ice rental costs and equipment, we do charge a minimum of $750 for an event. We will provide instructors and all the equipment you need to play; all your people need to bring are clean shoes and warm flexible clothing. We spend the first half of the event learning curling skills like how to deliver stones and sweep, in the second half you will play an informal match.
We prefer to book events approximately 30-60 days in advance. Once we get your preferred dates we need to confirm availability of ice at the Scheels ice plex and we will then see if we can find instructors. Our club is entirely volunteer run so we will need to ensure we have members available to support your event. Once I have confirmed all of those things, we will send you a contract and invoice. A deposit of $150 is required to complete your booking, and full payment minus your deposit is due before the event.
