The purpose of Sioux Falls Curling is to promote the education of the sport of curling in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. We fulfill this mission through regular learn to curls, corporate events, and educational events. Each of these events focuses on teaching the fundamentals of curling, while emphasizing safety and fun. Sioux Falls Curling began in 2014 with a small group of passionate curlers. In 2015, the club became a 501(c)3 non-profit status and moved to our current location of the Scheel’s IcePlex. We are a member of the Dakota Territory Curling Association as well as a member of the US Curling Association (USCA). We have grown to over 175 curlers since we began. We offer up to five open format league nights to our members in both the Spring and the Fall. Consistent with out mission, teams with newer members may request a mentor for their first league to further their education of the spirit of curling. We are passionate about the sport and look to expand to a dedicated ice facility in the future.
