Sales and Sponsorship Coordinator

    General Description

    The Sales and Sponsorship Coordinator for the SFC Board of Directors (BOD) is charged with the coordination of all advertising sales and sponsorship opportunities for the club. The Sales and Sponsorship Coordinator serves as one of 9 to 13 active volunteer Directors, each of which is given responsibility for an aspect of overall club management. This position is a volunteer position without compensation.

    General board members are appointed for 3-year terms, but may be renewed indefinitely on an annual basis.


    As a general member of the BOD, the Sales and Sponsorship Coordinator will be a voting member of the board.


    • Sell and promote available advertisement and sponsorship spaces with SFC, including but not limited to stone sponsorships, scoreboard ads, etc.
    • Identify new sponsorship and advertising sales opportunities for the club.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and positive customer service for businesses and individuals purchasing sponsorships and advertising with SFC.
    • Maintain inventories of current and past client purchases and available sponsorship and ad spaces.
    • Compliance with all necessary trainings and qualifications as outlined by USA Curling and SFC.


    Though no experience is required, SFC will most benefit from a Sales and Sponsorship Coordinator who has experience in customer service, sales, organizational development, and fundraising.

    A successful Sales and Sponsorship Coordinator will also possess the following:

    • Organization skills to track and maintain records and paperwork related to sales.
