Event Details
Founded after the tragic death of Emily Groth, Emily’s Hope is a non-profit with the mission to alleviate the cost of treatment for addiction within our community. There are a few ways you can participate in Second Annual Curling For Emily’s Hope fundraiser:
- Learn all about the game of curling by joining us on the ice! Sign up as an individual or with a group. We will step out onto the ice every 15 minutes between 1pm - 2pm. No need to sign up for a specific time, just arrive to the IcePlex and we will get you on the ice. You will be on the ice for around 45 minutes.
- After learning how to curl, socialize with your fellow participants and local curlers while watching some live curling games between teams on the ice!
- Enjoy a Full Experience! After learning to curl join us on the ice for actual short curling games from 2:30pm - 5:00pm. Teams will be formed and instructors are availble to help coach your team to victory! Fun will be had as you try out your new skills with friends.
- For those who are hesitant to step foot on the ice, don’t worry one bit. We’ve got ample seating, a viewing balcony to see one of the fastest growing Olympic sports, and we’ll have local curlers available to answer any questions you might have!
